These Family Portraits in Schenectady Rose Garden was my last session of the year. Ending the year with this sweet family and in such a beautiful location was the icing on the cake of an amazing year. The Central Park Rose Garden in Schenectady is an ideal place for family portraits. In fact, just one […]
There is something incredibly special about photographing the same family year after year. I’ve had the honor of capturing this sweet family since their oldest daughter was born. It’s been such a joy to watch their girls grow. This year, they wanted to do Christmas tree farm portraits at the same local farm where they […]
This playful family portrait session at Central Park Rose Garden in Schenectady was such a dream. Not only is the rose garden one of my favorite locations for family portraits, but I absolutely adore this family. I’ve had the privilege of photographing them every year since their son, Johnny, was born. It has been so […]
While we are living in the digital age, printed portraits still matter. I would even argue that they matter more now than ever before. That’s not to say digital images aren’t important, because they are, and you’ll always still receive them with your sessions! However, there is something to be said for the printed portraits […]

We captured newborn portraits in the studio, and along this very spot, we captured their first portraits as a family of three. Now, they’re back to capture this summer’s […]
This session just has my heart!! Jim reached out to schedule a family portrait session as a surprise for his wife, which is just the sweetest idea! With three little boys at home, he was eager to create portraits of her with each of their sons, along with a beautiful family portrait to hang in […]
I’ve said it before, but being trusted to capture a family’s portraits year after year is the highest honor as a family photographer. I love getting to know my families and they truly do become more like friends as the years pass… especially families like this one. Lisa’s family has been trusting me with their […]
This family was such a joy to photograph, and the girls were filled with giggles and games as they cuddled and danced together for some very sweet portraits on Cape Cod. These Cape Cod Family Portraits in Chatham MA were full of beachy and summer vibes – particularly because of the girls’ beautiful Lilly Pulitzer […]
I truly loved this family portrait session! If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know that Cape Cod is one of my favorite places. I enjoy summers on the Cape and evenings spent photographing families at all of my favorite beaches. So many of my New York clients have heard me talk about the […]
