There is something so special about capturing portraits for families year after year. It means even more when families travel to have me capture their memories. This sweet family came up to Saratoga Springs from Florida for the past two summers, and I’ve been so fortunate to capture their family portraits both times! This year we met at Congress Park for their destination family portraits in Saratoga Springs for a beautiful morning session.

Their sweet children, Arielle and Ryan, brought their A-game. They were all smiles and personality. I love capturing sweet sibling moments during family sessions! Ryan is absolutely obsessed with the concept of teenagers, so we spent the whole time having him pose and smile “like a teenager.” We shared so many laughs and really enjoyed our time together.

Congress Park Session Outfits

I loved the outfits this family chose for their session! The kids wore white outfits, which not only photographed beautifully against the lush summer grass and summer blooms around the park, but naturally complemented their parents outfits. Mom’s dark green dress with a cream flower pattern was stunning. It added the perfect pop of color and movement to the photos.

I loved helping mom plan a gallery wall for their entryway once they were back home! We combined portraits from this year’s and last year’s sessions for a beautiful mixture of family portraits! What a joyful spot to greet everyone who walks in the door of their home now, and such a fun way for them to relive their favorite Saratoga Springs summer memories.
