There is something incredibly special about photographing the same family year after year. I’ve had the honor of capturing this sweet family since their oldest daughter was born. It’s been such a joy to watch their girls grow. This year, they wanted to do Christmas tree farm portraits at the same local farm where they go to pick out their Christmas tree each December. I love that we were able to capture their family portraits at a meaningful location and celebrate one of their holiday traditions. While this is a tradition that many families share, it is one that is filled with excitement and lasting memories. I absolutely loved being able to turn this experience into family portraits.
We met up in the fall for their session when the air was crisp and the rows of pine trees created the most beautiful natural backdrop. Their adorable, spunky dog joined them for the first time too, adding even more personality and fun to their session.
The setting paired beautifully with their thoughtfully chosen outfits. Mom and Dad wore warm, neutral tones that complemented the natural scenery, while Giuliana and Gabriella looked absolutely darling in their matching navy blue dresses. One of the best parts of their session was seeing the girls’ personalities as they giggled and ran through the rows of pine trees. It’s incredible to look back at their portraits over the years and see how much they’ve grown and changed, which is why I love annual family portraits so much. It means so much to me that they’ve continued to trust me with their family memories.
This Christmas tree farm session was filled with laughter, beautiful fall light, playful moments between sisters, and so much love. I am already looking forward to seeing this sweet family again in 2026!
