Every year, I love taking a moment to pause, reflect, and look back on all the milestones I’ve had the honor of documenting. This Best of 2025 post is dedicated to my very favorite subjects-babies! From sleepy newborns and smiley milestone sessions to joyful cake smashes, this year was overflowing with chubby cheeks, curious eyes, and so much love. Spending my days photographing babies and their families truly never gets old. Each session tells a different story. I am forever grateful to the families who invited me into their lives to document these meaningful moments and trusted me to preserve these memories for them.

One of the things I love most is working with families again and again as their little ones grow. Many of these families return to me to capture multiple milestones from newborn sessions, sitter milestones, first birthdays, and beyond. There’s something incredibly special about building that relationship over time. Sessions feel less like appointments and more like catching up with friends. That is my favorite part of photography – the sweet friendships built while capturing memories for them.

Newborn sessions are calm, cozy, and baby-led, with the focus on connection, snuggles, and those tiny details that change all too quickly. Milestone sessions are full of personality as babies start sitting, smiling, clapping, and showing off their new tricks. Cake smashes are always pure joy! They are messy, playful, and such a fun way to celebrate a first birthday.

My goal is always to make sessions feel relaxed and enjoyable for both you and your little ones. From planning guidance to wardrobe advice, and a calm, baby-friendly studio environment, everything is designed to help families feel relaxed and taken care of.

After each session, families choose how they’d like to enjoy their images, whether through a beautifully designed heirloom album, a wall art display in their homes, or a collection box filled with their favorite prints. Watching parents select portraits that will live on their walls, in their home, and be passed down for generations is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
