When you’re born on the 4th of July, a red white and blue photo session is definitely in your future!  Oscar’s family has been coming to our Saratoga Springs portrait studio since their oldest son turned one, and this summer I got to celebrate their littlest one’s first birthday with them, too!  

We started with some gorgeous family portraits outside, and the location matched their wardrobe choices perfectly.  I just love these classic colors in the summertime!

Brothers!!  How cute are they?!?!

This turned out to be one of my FAVORITE cake smash sets.  I especially love how it photographed from up above with all of the stars covering the floor and surrounding the birthday boy.

Seriously, he was SUCH A LITTLE HAM!  Oscar loved the camera, and he couldn’t stop smiling and giggling the entire session!

Now that is how you smash a cake!  

We finished Oscar’s cake smash session with a tub bath, and he loved splashing in the water and was all smiles for us.  See that wide-open laugh below?  His big brother made THE EXACT SAME FACE during his tub bath after his cake smash session in 2017.  (It was a cookies and milk session, and oh so cute!  Go check it out on the blog!)
